Smooth called Chi-Chi the very next morning and told her all about the meeting that Money Black had at his car shop. He insisted that she needed to be careful and then told her how he and Young Thug, one of the artists from the label, had been just lounging around the studio sampling some music, when the youngster told him that Money Black had taken him out to a big fancy house out in Katy, where he offered him some money and some dope if he needed it until his album dropped.

"So you think he could be holding all of his drugs and money there?" Chi-Chi asked Smooth.

"Maybe, maybe not," he said. Chi-Chi didn't know nothing about no drugs, or actually never knew the movements of a person that did. But at this particular time, she wanted to find Money Black's nest. She knew she wasn't the street type, so she began to think that she should just let Javoo and Cornelius handle the street stuff and try to find a way to help Smooth get that record company back.

"Ok, I'll call Javoo and tell him what you told me. In the meantime, I'ma try to make a couple phone calls to check up on somethin', so I'll holla atcha later," she said and then hung up. Chi-Chi found the number to Mr. Walsh's law firm and forwarded the call. She wanted to know the legal procedure it took to get the record company back and listened as the lawyer's secretary put her through.

Michael Walsh speaking," the man said once he answered.

"Hi, Mr. Walsh, this is Chitora Hastings," she said.

"Well, hello Chitora. How can I help you?" he asked her.

"I'm calling because I wanted to talk to you about the record company my brother had," she told him.

"Yes, you mean the one that Mr. Williams now owns," he said.

"Yeah, what can I do to get that company? What's the process?" she asked the man.

"What? Did something happen to him also?" he asked her.

"No, but me and the guy my brother first left the label to may want to try to purchase it again," she told him.

"I didn't understand why he turned it over to him in the first place," said Mr. Walsh.

"Well, there was a huge misunderstanding. We're going 50/50 in on it this time,” she told him.

Mr. Walsh explained to her all of the proper procedures she needed to take to get the record company back. He told her that he would fax her some papers that would need to be signed by the owner, if she could get his signature, and that was all she needed to hear.

"Ok, you can fax me at my record shop," she said and then gave him her fax number. She hung up the phone and waited for the fax to come through. When she received the paperwork, she called Cornelius and told him to come over to the record shop.
